We are seeking a bilingual, native English-speaking governess for a 2-year-old in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Farsi (or Arabic or Russian), with a degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education or Montessori, and at least 4–5 years’ experience with toddlers or preschoolers. She will support early learning through play, music, art, and sensory activities, promote positive behavior, confidence, independence, and teach manners and social etiquette. Knowledge of a musical instrument, preferably piano, or a degree in child psychology is a bonus. This is a permanent position, and while she will not live inside the home, she will reside in a separate staff house shared with three other maids—each having her own private room. The governess will be considered living in while on call during working days. She will work five days a week (Friday, Saturday, and three weekdays), 8–10 hours per day. A driver is available for commutes. Immediate start.
