Dallas, TX – A family is seeking a compassionate and experienced live-in nanny to support their school-aged son who is on the autism spectrum. This is a Monday–Friday position focused on providing structured before- and after-school care, with a strong emphasis on consistency, patience, and positive engagement.
The ideal candidate will have a background in ABA therapy or prior experience working with children with special needs, along with a calm, supportive approach to daily routines and emotional regulation. Responsibilities include assisting with morning and afternoon routines, supporting school transitions, and engaging the child in meaningful, developmentally appropriate activities that encourage independence and confidence.
The family employs a housekeeper, allowing the nanny to focus primarily on childcare and developmental support. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required, as the nanny will use the family vehicle for transportation. A valid passport is preferred due to domestic and international travel.
Private bedroom and bathroom accommodations are provided.
