A loving and energetic family in Culver City, Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Live-In Nanny to care for their two children, ages 1 and 3. The ideal candidate will be passionate about childcare, responsible, and able to create a nurturing environment that promotes the development and well-being of the children.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive and loving care for a 1-year-old throughout the day.
Prepare the 3-year-old for school and drive them to and from school (located close to the family home).
Plan and engage the children in age-appropriate activities, both educational and recreational.
Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children by following recipes and steaming vegetables.
Perform light housekeeping duties related to the children, including tidying play areas, cleaning up after meals, and organizing toys.
Manage the children’s laundry, ensuring clothes are clean and well-maintained.
Maintain a safe and healthy environment for the children at all times.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding the children’s daily activities, progress, and any concerns.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 12 hours per day
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a nanny or in a similar childcare role.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
Energetic, enthusiastic, and loves working with children.
Ability to follow simple cooking instructions and recipes.
Basic understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks efficiently.
