A private family in Cow Hollow, San Francisco is looking for an experienced Spanish-speaking nanny to care for their two children, ages 5 and 9. The family has a chef and housekeeper in place, so the focus of the role is primarily on the children and their daily routines. Responsibilities include school pick-ups, driving to extracurricular activities, managing after-school schedules, planning age-appropriate activities and outings, preparing snacks, and helping with the children’s day-to-day needs. The nanny will also manage calendar logistics, appointments and scheduling, while keeping the children’s rooms, belongings, backpacks and activity supplies organised.
The successful candidate will be fluent in Spanish and English and have at least five years of professional childcare experience. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required, along with a valid passport and the flexibility to accompany the family on domestic and international travel. The nanny will work closely with the parents and household staff and should be organised, proactive and comfortable working as part of a team.
The schedule is Monday to Friday, 11:00am to 7:00pm. The family offers $40–$50 per hour, depending on experience, plus a healthcare stipend, paid holidays, sick days and vacation days.
