A family based in the Cotswolds is seeking an experienced live-in nanny / teacher to care for and support the development of their 4-year-old daughter. This is a wonderful opportunity for a nurturing and education-focused candidate with a strong teaching or early years background, who can create a structured yet gentle learning environment within the home. The family is looking for someone proactive, warm, and genuinely passionate about supporting young children through engaging and age-appropriate learning.
The role will involve delivering 2–3 hours of structured educational activities each day, alongside organising enriching outings, creative play, and local playgroups to encourage social development and interaction with other children. Standard nanny duties are required, with additional household support provided by a housekeeper for laundry duties.
The position is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, and includes extensive travel throughout the year. A confident driver is essential, with a car provided for work use. Accommodation consists of a separate one-bedroom cottage, and the salary is up to £60,000 depending on experience.
