A family based in Coral Gables, FL is seeking an experienced Night Nanny or Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) to provide overnight support for their baby due at the end of August.
The family is looking for full 7-night coverage for a minimum of 3 months and is open to hiring either one candidate or two NCS to share the schedule.
This role involves fully awake overnight newborn care, including assisting with overnight feedings, diapering, burping, soothing, and maintaining excellent newborn hygiene and comfort throughout the night. The ideal candidate will also support the family’s breastfeeding goals where possible, provide education around formula feeding if needed, and help establish healthy sleep habits and age-appropriate routines that parents can confidently continue long term. As first-time parents, they are looking for someone calm, knowledgeable, and reassuring, who can offer guidance and hands-on support during the newborn stage while maintaining a professional and nurturing presence in the home.
The position consists of 12-hour night shifts and offers $35–$45 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
Requirements:
NCS Certification required
Verifiable professional references
Must be local to the Miami / Coral Gables area
Legally eligible to work in the United States
Current Infant CPR & First Aid certification
Up to date on vaccinations
Previous overnight newborn care experience preferred
Comfortable working fully awake overnight shifts
