A family of four in Coral Gables, Florida is seeking a full-time nanny for their two children- ages 9 and 11- to start after Labor Day. The schedule will be five days per week, often including one weekend day and including a full weekend every other or every third week, depending on the family’s schedule. There will always be two days given off per week. During weekdays, the schedule will include afternoons of school pick-up and pre-bedtime routines from about 2pm to 8pm. On weekend shifts, it will be full days (morning and afternoon) and sometimes overnights. On average, the nanny will end up working about 30/hours per week during the school year, but they will be guaranteed 40 hours paid each week to ensure a full-time salary and flexibility. About 40 working hours will be the norm during the Summers. The Mom stays at home, so this is a collaborative role with her to keep the children’s lives running smoothly and efficiently.
Job responsibilities include pick-ups and drop-offs, engaging in age-appropriate activities with the children, homework help, light housekeeping related to the children, and overall management of their schedules in coordination with their Mother. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, proactive, and flexible. Someone who has a fun and active personality will be best in the role.
