A welcoming family in Clapham SW11 is looking for an experienced live-in nanny to support their three children, aged between 4 and 10 years old. The position offers separate self-contained accommodation, providing privacy and independence while still being part of the family’s daily routine.
The role is centred around helping the children navigate their school days, activities, and routines while creating a positive and organised environment at home. The family is looking for someone who is energetic, dependable, and genuinely enjoys spending time with children, whether that’s helping with homework, planning fun activities, or simply being a reassuring presence at the end of the school day. During school hours, there is a substantial daily break of approximately 4–5 hours, offering excellent work-life balance within the role.
Responsibilities:
School drop-offs and pick-ups for all three children
Supporting homework, reading, and school projects
Planning engaging after-school activities, outings, and play opportunities
Helping maintain routines and ensuring smooth transitions throughout the day
Preparing children’s snacks and simple meals as needed
Encouraging independence, good manners, and positive behaviour
Managing children’s laundry and wardrobe organisation
Keeping the playroom, children’s bedrooms, and child-related spaces tidy and organised
Coordinating children’s schedules, activities, and school commitments
Providing attentive care and supervision before and after school
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Daily Break: Approximately 4–5 hours during school hours
Accommodation: Separate self-contained living accommodation provided
Salary: £38,000–£40,000 per year
