This busy family is looking for a maternity nurse to look after their 2 month old on a 24/7 rota basis.
You will work in tandem with the other maternity nurse, helping to maintain the routine for the baby. You should be a strong team player and a good communicator. Mum likes to be as hands on as possible, but does have her own company so needs to be able to plan meetings around the baby’s schedule. She would like a maternity nurse who is able to offer advice and support whilst leaving her to make the ultimate decision.
You will have a room and bathroom in the house, baby’s Moses basket will be in your room at night, but baby will have their own nursery in the house too. You will also be responsible for standard nursery duties.
This is a semi-formal household; both Mum and Dad like to be hands on when they can and like to have quiet family time wherever possible. You should therefore be able to judge the situation and give the family their space when needed. Strong teamwork and communication will be key in this role. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, patient and will advise without being forceful.
