A family based in Chelsea is seeking an experienced, confident, and knowledgeable nanny to join them from March next year. The role will be primarily focused on a little boy, with full sole-charge responsibilities daily. The nanny will provide a loving, supportive and nurturing environment that encourages his learning, development and progression through key milestones. The family also has a daughter who attends pre-school and there will be occasions when care of both children is required. The ideal candidate will bring fresh ideas and creativity to support the little boy’s development, planning age-appropriate activities that promote learning, curiosity and confidence. A genuine love for working with children and a calm, capable approach is essential.
Key responsibilities:
- Undertaking all daily nanny duties and following the little boy’s daily routine/schedule
- Planning/preparing learning and development activities at home to support the different milestones
- Attending groups, activities and playdates – the family have a membership to a children’s club
- Going for walks and to the park
- Preparing healthy meals/snacks
- Emptying the dishwasher and cleaning up the kitchen after cooking meals
- Undertaking all nursery duties
- Open to occasional babysitting – pre-planned and paid additional
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm/6pm
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 gross per year DOE
