A UHNW family based in Chelsea is seeking an exceptional Norland trained nanny to care for their two young children aged 4 and 1 years old.
This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a highly professional nanny with strong early years knowledge and a genuine passion for child development. The family is looking for someone confident, proactive, and experienced in delivering a high standard of care within a fully staffed household environment.
The eldest child attends nursery, so the role will involve a mixture of sole charge care for the youngest child alongside supporting both children’s routines, learning, and overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Providing high-quality, developmentally focused care for both children
Planning engaging and age-appropriate activities to support learning and development
Supporting daily routines including mealtimes, naps, nursery preparation, and bedtime
Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and social development
Managing all nursery duties including children’s laundry, wardrobe organisation, meal preparation, toy organisation, and keeping children’s areas tidy
Supporting early years milestones and maintaining stimulating learning environments
Working collaboratively with parents and household staff
Accompanying the family on outings and occasional travel if required
Candidate Requirements
Norland trained nanny essential
Previous experience working with similar age groups within private households
Strong understanding of early childhood development and education
Calm, organised, and flexible approach
Confident working in a fully staffed home
Excellent communication skills and professional presentation
Warm, nurturing, and energetic personality
Up-to-date DBS and first aid certification preferred
Job Details
1 week on / 1 week off rota schedule
Live-in or live-out flexibility for the right candidate
Salary: £80,000–£100,000 gross per year depending on experience
