A lovely family of four in the suburb of Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking an experienced, thoughtful, and proactive live-out nanny for their 3-year-old and 10-month old children, to start ASAP. The general schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm. These hours could flex occasionally with advanced notice, based on the family’s and children’s needs. The family does travel on occasion and they would love to find a nanny who is willing to join them in domestic and international travels. They are open to relocating the right candidate as they are seeking someone for long-term and are willing to pay for commuting time if candidate is traveling to and from Charlotte, North Carolina.
Duties for this position include everything related to the children. This includes all aspects of childcare, as well as child related laundry, meal prep, tidying, organization, and driving the children to and from activities. The family is looking for someone with early childhood education experience that is creative, positive, and solution oriented. They are seeking someone who is proactive in coming up with new, intentional and fun activities for the kids (both inside and outside the home), and who will help the siblings grow together. The family values their children learning together through nature, exploration and creative play and they are looking to hire someone who aligns with that. The nanny should be excited and willing to work as a team with the parents. Both parents work from home and value open communication. On days when one parent is not working and is free the nanny must be okay with dividing and conquering the childcare and working together.
COVID and flu vaccines are preferred, TDAP is required. Candidate should be a non-smoker and non-vaping. Candidate must be fluent in English and any other languages are a plus. Candidate must be able to drive, have a clean driving record, and their own safe and reliable mode of transportation. Candidate must be comfortable with swimming, and CPR and first aid certified as they live right on a lake and have a pool. Competitive hourly pay provided depending on experience and benefits include vacation and monthly health-care stipend.
