Family in Charleston, SC is seeking a dedicated special needs nanny to provide high-quality, child-focused care for their joyful 7-year-old son and accompany them on many exciting adventures. The child does have some developmental delays. He is currently mostly non-verbal but is steadily progressing and beginning to use more words. The family works closely with a team of specialists to support his ongoing care and development. The nanny will be responsible for administering his daily medications. The ideal candidate should be patient, nurturing, and supportive demeanor. Previous experience working with children who have developmental delays is highly preferred. A candidate who is compassionate, observant, and genuinely invested in helping children thrive will be the best fit for this role. A confident swimmer is essential for this role. The family enjoys both domestic and international travel, making this a travel-heavy position.
During the school year, schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:30pm-8:30pm and Saturdays/Sundays for a few hours; Summers must be flexible (overall on average will be 32-37 hours per week)
Salary starting at $40 per hour.
The family is open to relocating the right candidate.
