A family based in Center City, PA is seeking a caring and experienced full-time nanny to support the care of their newborn baby. This position is ideal for a nurturing and confident infant specialist who is comfortable taking full responsibility for day-to-day newborn care within a calm and structured home environment. The family is looking for someone reliable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about early childhood development.
The role includes full newborn care and support, following feeding, nap, and developmental schedules, and engaging the baby through reading, sensory play, and age-appropriate stimulation. Daily stroller walks and safe outdoor exposure are encouraged, along with maintaining a low-stimulation, screen-free environment. Additional responsibilities include nursery organisation, baby laundry, keeping all baby-related areas tidy, and closely monitoring developmental milestones while providing regular updates to parents.
The position is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a salary of $30–$35 per hour depending on experience.
