Family based in the Cayman Islands is seeking a professional full-time travel nanny to care for their 1.5-year-old child. This role offers the opportunity to live independently with a provided apartment in the Cayman Islands, while traveling frequently with the family to destinations including Miami, New York, and worldwide. The position begins ASAP and requires a minimum one-year commitment, with the possibility of extending into a second year.
Responsibilities include providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care for their toddler, organizing engaging activities that encourage growth and learning, and ensuring a consistent and nurturing routine both at home and while traveling. The nanny will partner closely with the mother to adapt daily schedules and routines as needed. Additional duties include managing nap times, preparing simple meals for the child, maintaining tidy play areas, and assisting with bath and bedtime routines when required.
The family values flexibility above all else. While in the Cayman Islands, the nanny’s schedule will generally be 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, five days per week, with two days off that may vary week-to-week (sometimes consecutive, sometimes split). The family will provide the schedule one week in advance. When traveling, the nanny will work as needed to support the family’s routines, with flexibility around hours and travel logistics being essential. Candidates should be comfortable traveling on short notice, often with one to two days’ lead time.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $130,000–$150,000+ per year, depending on experience.
