Family in Carrigrohane, Cork, is seeking a reliable and experienced nanny to care for their two children, aged 7 and 9. This is a sole-charge position, as both parents work full-time in demanding roles, so the ideal candidate must be confident managing the daily routine independently and flexible with their approach.
The nanny will be responsible for nursery duties, including the children’s laundry, keeping their bedroom, kitchen, and living areas clean and tidy, as well as running small errands example supermarket. Preparing healthy and nutritious meals, lunches and snacks for the children is also an important part of the role.
The successful candidate will follow the children’s daily routine, support them with their homework, and be proactive in organising age-appropriate activities, outings to the local park, and taking the children to after school clubs and playdates. Travelling with the family occasionally would be a bonus.
Both children attend school, so school drop-offs and collections will form part of the daily routine. A full driving licence is essential, and while having your own car is preferred, the family can provide a vehicle if needed.
The position is full time across four days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with working hours from 7:30am to 6:00pm. The role starts ASAP.
