A family in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a full-time experienced Nanny to care for their newborn. They are looking for a seasoned childcare professional with a strong background in newborn care or early childhood education. The ideal candidate will be calm, nurturing, and highly knowledgeable in infant development, with the ability to confidently support the baby’s early milestones while establishing a safe, structured, and loving environment.
Responsibilities include all aspects of newborn care such as feeding, diapering, soothing, and implementing consistent sleep routines. As the baby grows, the nanny will also engage in age-appropriate developmental activities that support sensory, cognitive, and motor development. Additional duties include nursery organisation, baby-related laundry, light meal preparation, and maintaining a clean and tidy environment centered around the baby’s needs.
The role requires flexibility for occasional overnights and potential travel with the family.
This is a Monday to Friday position, working 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Compensation is $30–$40 per hour depending on experience.
