Family in Cape May, New Jersey is looking for a full time nanny/family assistant for their two children. They have a 9-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old daughter. This is a neurodivergent family and both children will need a supportive, patient nanny to assist them with any homework and extracurricular activities. The children will both be attending school from 9 am-2 pm during the week. Mom is at home and will need the nanny/ family assistant to work with her.
The main duties for this role will be assisting the children with their laundry, organizing their closets, and assisting the family with basic cooking, checking emails, scheduling traveling, communicating with teachers, tutors, and doctors, and making sure that mom is in the loop with what is going on. A nanny who is proactive and extremely detail oriented and can be proactive with household tidying. The schedule for this position will be Monday to Friday, 11 am – 7 pm.
Please be a safe swimmer as they live near the ocean and have a clean and reliable vehicle as driving is required. A college degree is preferred but not required for this position as well as experience with neurodivergent adults/children.
Compensation is $35-40/hour gross with 2 weeks paid vacation, sick days, and holidays.
