Seeking a Nanny/Therapist for a 6 yo child diagnosed with autism.
They are looking for someone energetic, playful and most of all fun! The child is a 6-year-old boy who enjoys reading, music, playing with sea-animals, swimming, running, and exercising. He has a physical fitness trainer who he works out with 5 days a week. He is verbal but requires some visual support (written words –in text form) to more easily acquire new language and to reliably demonstrate existing language. The focus of his support is on increasing his independent and spontaneous use of vocal speech. He speaks English as his primary language; however, he also speaks some Arabic, and French. He also enjoys learning words in other languages. The ideal candidate is a systematic thinker, who is not rigid in implementation, flexibility is a must. the person sought should be creative but not unfocused and random.
Like many children with ASD this child thrives with predictable routines, but more importantly consistent responding and teaching from his caregivers. He is very tolerant of changes when presented in a manner that is consistent with his learning profile.
List of duties:
* Everything related to the kids and their surroundings on a daily basis.
* Playing and having fun with Farid
* Bathing, showering and dressing.
* Tidying child’s bedrooms and play area
* Planning meals, assisting in teaching Farid to preparing food, supervising mealtimes
* Facilitating Farid to assist in cleaning up after meals
* Indoor and outdoor play, outings.
* Educational activities and crafts
* Taking the kids to/ from the kindergarten & school.
* Take them for sports and activities, playdates
* Putting kids to beds.
* Traveling with the family inside and outside Egypt.
* Reading and teaching the kids good manners & behavior.
