A prestigious VIP family based in Cairo is seeking a highly qualified, experienced, and dedicated Governess/Teacher to support the education and development of two children aged 9 and 7, both attending a leading British international school.

The role combines educational guidance with light nanny responsibilities in a fully staffed household environment.
The successful candidate will take primary responsibility for overseeing the children’s academic progress, ensuring they remain engaged, motivated, and performing to a high standard across all core subjects.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the children’s learning in line with the British curriculum
Planning and delivering engaging educational sessions and revision support
Assisting with homework, coursework, and exam preparation
Monitoring academic progress and maintaining close communication with the school and teachers
Coordinating with additional tutors and extracurricular providers where required
Encouraging strong study habits, organisation, and independent learning
Organising educational and enrichment activities
Managing daily routines including school preparation, scheduling, and bedtime routines
Preparing lunch boxes and ensuring the children are ready for school
Accompanying the family on regular international travel
Candidate Requirements
University degree in Education or a related field
Minimum of 2–3 years’ full-time teaching experience within a school environment
Strong understanding of the British education system
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) highly preferred
Excellent teaching ability in Mathematics, English Language, and Information Technology
Previous experience working within private households or with VIP families is advantageous
Professional, discreet, organised, and adaptable
Fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills

Working schedule: 5 or 6 days per week
Regular international travel required
Salary: £5,000–£6,000 net per month
