A warm and professional family in Bronxville, NY is seeking an experienced Mandarin-speaking live-in nanny to care for their 3-year-old twins. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity for a highly capable nanny who is fluent in Mandarin and English and has a strong background in early childhood education and tutoring.
The ideal candidate is engaging, organized, safety-focused, and confident working both independently and collaboratively with parents and household staff.
Key Responsibilities
Educational Support & Language Development
Provide daily Mandarin and English language immersion
Offer supplemental tutoring to support early learning, communication, and cognitive development
Incorporate educational activities appropriate for 3-year-old twins
Support early childhood milestones through structured and play-based learning
Engagement & Childcare
Plan and lead age-appropriate activities including reading, games, arts and crafts, and imaginative play
Encourage curiosity, creativity, and social development
Provide attentive, nurturing care with child safety as the top priority
Daily Care & Household Duties (Child-Related Only)
Prepare and serve children’s meals
Handle children’s laundry
Maintain organization and cleanliness of play areas and children’s spaces
Assist with daily routines such as dressing, meals, naps, and bedtime preparation
Qualifications & Requirements
Fluent in Mandarin and English (required)
Proven experience as a nanny for toddlers or twins
Strong educational background; experience in early childhood education or tutoring preferred
Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with parents and staff
Professional, reliable, and proactive
Comfortable in a full-time, live-in role
