A lovely family in Sea Girt, New Jersey is seeking a full-time nanny for their 7-month-old baby girl to start ASAP. The schedule will be Monday through Thursday from 8am to 6pm and Fridays from 9am to 2pm, a guaranteed 45 hours per week. The position can be live-in or live-out depending on where the nanny is located. The job responsibilities include engaging their daughter in developmentally appropriate activities, keeping her belongings and spaces tidy and organized, and preparing her purees and meals as she grows. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of infant and toddler development and can guide the family in developmental milestones, eating, and sleep routines. Someone curious and even keeled who can strike a balance of being loving and warm with holding boundaries will do best in the role. You must be fully vaccinated for COVID, have a valid driver’s license, and be open to joining for occasional short-term travel. The client also very occasionally (maybe one day per month) goes to work in New York City and would have the nanny work from her apartment in Hoboken, NJ.
