A wonderful family from Hove are looking for a Nanny/PA to come and join their family from Jan 2023. They have a little 4 year old boy and am 18 month old little girl.
The family are looking for a kind, loving, highly organised and proactive Nanny who is a self starter. You will have experience with the age groups and be happy to look after the children on a sole charge basis as well as a shared care. Mum does work from home, but will be out and about with meetings also.
The little boy attends pre-school 5 days a week 8am-4.30pm, so you will be helping with getting him breakfast, dressed and ready to go and drop off. Some days you will be taking him to Nursery and other days Mum will do it. The little girl is home Monday – Wednesday so main care will be for her. On Thursdays and Fridays she attends nursery 8:15-5pm, so main core hours are 7-9 and 4-6 on Thursday, and Fridays 7-9. If you would like to do admin type tasks on these days eg errands, household payments, manage gardener and cleaner, then extra hours would be available. Some flexibility with hours on these days would be beneficial, in case the children need to be home due to sickness.
The family are looking for a professional, educated and experienced nanny who can provide fun and engaging activities, with a clear programme of educational and developmental aims for both children. You will be a good cook and provide healthy and balanced meals, and also batch cook freezer meals when time allows. Confidence and an interest in food, nutrition and cooking would suit this role. Help with preparing an evening meal for the family would really help them if the nanny would be willing to.
The family would love for their Nanny to be involved in travelling with them, if that was of interest to the nanny.
It is essential you are a driver with your own car.
Location: Hove Sussex
Hours: 7:00am-6:00pm Monday-Wednesday Thursdays 7-9 and then 4-6 pm and Friday 7-9am.
Salary: Negotiable dependant on expectation and experience
