Live-In Nanny Job in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire
A family in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire is seeking a live-in nanny to care for their 7-month-old baby and 7-year-old child. This role is ideal for a confident, experienced professional who can manage the needs of both an infant and a school-aged child while providing nurturing, structured, and developmentally appropriate care.
The nanny will be responsible for full childcare, including preparing home-cooked meals, following daily routines, and supporting school-related activities such as drop-offs and pick-ups. The ideal candidate will also plan age-appropriate activities, assist with homework, manage children’s laundry, and maintain tidy play and bedroom areas. Light household support related to the children is expected, but no deep cleaning is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide full-time care for a 7-month-old baby and a 7-year-old child
Prepare home-cooked meals and support daily routines
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
Support homework and school-related tasks for the older child
Manage children’s laundry and tidy play areas and bedrooms
Perform light household tasks related to the children
Provide school drop-offs and pick-ups as required
Requirements:
Confident managing both an infant and a school-aged child
Clean driving licence required; ideally with own car
Previous live-in or full-time nanny experience preferred
Schedule & Compensation:
Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
£650–£700 gross per week
