Montessori Nanny Job in Bexley (Columbus), OH
A family in Bexley, Ohio is seeking a full-time Montessori nanny to care for their 8-month-old baby. This role is ideal for a caregiver who truly enjoys the infant stage and brings a thoughtful, intentional approach to supporting developmental milestones, independence, and early learning.
A Montessori background is required, and the family is looking for someone who can confidently implement Montessori principles in daily routines, activities, and the home environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the baby’s daily routine, including feeding, naps, and structured play
Plan and implement age-appropriate, Montessori-aligned developmental activities
Encourage language development through conversation, reading, and purposeful play
Foster independence and confidence in line with Montessori philosophy
Maintain baby-related organization, including laundry, bottles, and nursery upkeep
Track developmental milestones and provide thoughtful, consistent communication with parents
Create a calm, prepared environment that supports exploration and learning
Requirements:
Montessori training or professional Montessori classroom experience (required)
Strong background in infant care and early childhood development
Knowledgeable about developmental milestones in the first year of life
Organized, intentional, and proactive
Excellent communication skills and professional references
Schedule: Monday through Friday
10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Compensation: $40–$45 per hour (DOE)
