A family in Belsize Park, London, is seeking an experienced and nurturing full-time nanny to care for their 1-year-old child. Mum is currently pregnant, so the family is looking for someone with strong baby and toddler experience who is confident supporting a young child through this stage of development. The role will initially be shared care with Mum during her maternity leave and will then become a sole-charge position.
The nanny will take responsibility for the child’s daily routine and all usual nursery duties, including feeding, changing, dressing, managing naps, and preparing healthy meals and snacks. The family would like the nanny to provide a fun and stimulating routine with plenty of opportunities for learning and socialisation. Regular outings will include baby and toddler classes, playgroups, activities, trips to the park, and other age-appropriate outings around London. The nanny will support the child’s developmental milestones and encourage independence, confidence, and positive social skills through play and everyday experiences. Child-related duties will also include managing the child’s laundry, organising clothes and toys, and keeping the child’s spaces neat and organised.
The ideal candidate will be warm, reliable, proactive, and confident working with both babies and toddlers. Good communication with the parents is important, particularly as the role transitions from shared care to sole charge.
The position is Monday to Friday, 45–50 hours per week, with a salary of £20–£22 gross per hour.
