A private family in Belgravia SW1 is seeking an experienced French-speaking nanny to care for their 2-year-old child on a full-time live-out basis. The role focuses on the child’s day-to-day care, maintaining consistent routines, and supporting all aspects of early development. A key priority is encouraging French language immersion through natural interaction, storytelling, songs, and age-appropriate educational activities. The nanny will also plan engaging indoor and outdoor experiences that promote curiosity, independence, and social development. Working within a fully staffed household, the nanny will be solely responsible for the child’s needs, ensuring a smooth and well-organised daily routine.
This is a long-term position offering stability, a supportive environment, and a competitive salary package. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00am–7:00pm, with a focus on consistency and high-quality childcare within a professional private household setting.
Requirements:
Fluent French speaker
Proven experience as a nanny or early years childcare professional
Strong understanding of toddler development and learning through play
Experience supporting language development in young children
Ability to establish and maintain structured daily routines
Confident planning age-appropriate educational and sensory activities
Experience working in fully staffed or private households preferred
