A loving family in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn is seeking an experienced full-time nanny to care for their 3-month-old baby. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurturing and dependable childcare professional who enjoys working with infants and understands the importance of supporting healthy development during the first year of life. The family is looking for someone who can provide attentive, hands-on care while creating a safe, engaging, and loving environment for their child.
The nanny will be responsible for all aspects of infant care, including bottle feeding, helping with the transition to solids when age-appropriate, and maintaining consistent feeding and nap routines. The ideal candidate will actively support developmental milestones through age-appropriate play, interaction, and enrichment activities. Daily responsibilities will also include preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child as they grow, managing child-related laundry, maintaining organized play areas, and taking the baby on walks, outings, and future classes. The family values a proactive nanny who enjoys spending time outdoors and creating opportunities for learning and exploration.
Requirements:
Previous professional experience caring for infants
Strong knowledge of infant developmental milestones
Experience with bottle feeding and introducing solids
Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate developmental activities
Comfortable taking the child on walks, outings, and classes
Experience preparing healthy meals and snacks for children
Willingness to complete child-related laundry and maintain organized play areas
CPR and First Aid certification preferred
Excellent references from previous childcare positions
Authorized to work in the United States
Schedule & Compensation:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Full-time position
$30–$35 per hour, depending on experience
