Bedford Hills, NY family of five is seeking a highly flexible, live-out nanny to provide exceptional care for their children, ages 3, 6, and 12 (older children in school). Because both parents may travel for work at times, the nanny must be adaptable, with a schedule that can vary day to day and may include domestic or international travel. Responsibilities include all aspects of childcare, such as getting the children ready for the day, school pick-ups and transportation to activities, meal and snack preparation, children’s laundry, maintaining clean and organized play areas, managing the children’s schedules, and actively engaging them in age-appropriate, enriching activities. Occasional errands and light pet care for the family’s small puppy may also be requested. The ideal nanny is warm, energetic, nurturing, adaptable, and has experience traveling with families. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to use their own vehicle as needed (mileage, gas, and wear-and-tear reimbursed). CPR certification, strong swimming skills, and a valid passport for international travel are required. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, approximately 8/9am – 4/5pm; however, hours may shift based on the parents’ travel and daily needs, so flexibility is essential. The position offers guaranteed 40 hours per week, $40–$45/hour DOE, PTO, sick days, major holidays, and a health stipend.
