BEACON, NY (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) – First-time parents are seeking a FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY to care for their 4-month-old son. Mom is returning to work as an attorney and needs help for roughly 10 hours a day for 4 days a week including 1 weekend day. The nanny’s hours are flexible; ex: 10 am – 8 pm, 7 am – 6 pm, or 12 pm – 10 pm. Mom and dad both work from home the majority of the time and commute to the city twice a week. The family is familiar with nannies as the mother has a nanny while growing up and is seeking a very long-term nanny to grow with their family. Candidates need to have a passport or willingness to get one as the family travels internationally twice a year to Mexico and Europe.
It is extremely important to the parents that the nanny is well-versed in infant safety. This family has had a negative and unsafe experience prior to this placement and needs to ensure the safety of their 4-month-old as the top priority. Duties include all things associated with caring for the infant, diaper changes, making and cleaning bottles after feeding, and assisting with loading the dishwasher after meals, The perfect candidate is familiar with safe sleep practices for infants, is honest, trustworthy, and can communicate well with the parents.
Benefits include PTO + Sick days + Paid holidays. The candidate needs to be up to date on all vaccinations; tdap, covid, flu, MMR. Start date January. Pay is $25-30/hr gross via payroll.
