Family in Beacon Hill, Boston, MA is seeking a full-time nanny/house manager to support their two children — a 6-year-old girl and a 9-year-old girl and help ensure the smooth running of their household. This is a live-out role and there is no on-site parking available. The family spends time in Maine during the summer months, and the nanny will be expected to travel domestically with them during this period to provide continuity of care and household support.
Key Responsibilities:
Childcare & Family Support:
Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for two school-aged children
Support after-school routines, activities, dinner, and transitions
Coordinate schedules and be attentive to therapy and extracurricular commitments
Prepare meals and snacks for the children and recovering parent, following dietary guidelines
Provide occasional overnight care when needed
Travel domestically with the family, including summer stays in Maine
Household Management:
Light laundry and light housekeeping
Kitchen tidying and general home upkeep
Organizing projects and maintaining household systems
Managing household inventory and supplies
Running light errands, including prescription pickups
Assisting with carrying items in a multi-story home
Supporting the smooth, day-to-day flow of the household
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday, 12:00pm–8:00pm
Friday, 10:30am–6:30pm
40 guaranteed hours per week
Compensation: $30–$40/hour
