Working parents based in Ballycastle, County Antrim, Northern Ireland are seeking an experienced and caring live-in nanny to provide sole-charge care for their happy and energetic 3-year-old son. This is a child-focused position with very few household responsibilities, allowing you to concentrate on creating a fun, nurturing, and stimulating environment where the child can flourish. The family is looking for a proactive nanny who enjoys supporting early years development, encouraging independence, and making each day engaging through play, creativity, and outdoor adventures.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the child’s daily routine, monitoring developmental milestones, planning age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, preparing healthy meals and snacks, and accompanying him on nursery runs and outings when required. Light housekeeping related to the child, such as tidying play areas and organising toys and clothes, is expected, while a cleaner is employed to take care of the family home.
The role is Monday to Friday, with comfortable accommodation provided in a private self-contained annexe.
Salary is £45,000 per year (gross).
