A family in Balham, London is seeking an experienced live-in nanny to care for their three children, aged 4 years, 2 years, and 5 months. The eldest attends preschool, and baby care will initially be shared with mum while she is on maternity leave until summer/autumn. Following this period, the nanny will transition into a sole-charge role. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurturing, organized, and proactive nanny who is confident managing multiple young children and creating a calm, structured home environment.
Key responsibilities include delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that support early development, maintaining balanced routines with gentle structure, and preparing healthy meals for the children. The nanny will transport the children to and from preschool, playdates, and activities, and will take full responsibility for all nursery duties, including children’s laundry and keeping play areas organized. A strong emphasis is placed on emotional development—encouraging the children to express their feelings, manage expectations, and communicate clearly about daily events.
The schedule is Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, and Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM. Live-in accommodation includes a private bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. The position offers a gross annual salary of £45,000.
