A lovely family based in Balham, London is looking for an experienced nanny to care for their two children, aged 2 and 5. The family is looking for someone who can encourage learning through play, build the children’s confidence and independence, and establish positive routines that help them thrive both at home and at school.
The role includes school and nursery pick-ups, preparing healthy meals, organising the children’s schedules, clubs, and extracurricular activities, and planning stimulating outings and age-appropriate activities during the school holidays. The nanny will also be responsible for encouraging good manners, healthy eating habits, and positive behaviour, while undertaking all usual nursery duties, including the children’s laundry and wardrobe organisation. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and passionate about providing high-quality childcare in a long-term family role.
The position follows a term-time and school holiday schedule, with working hours of 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm during term time and 8:00 am to 7:00 pm during school holidays. The family is offering £20–£25 gross per hour, depending on experience.
