Rotational Nanny Job in Austin, Texas | 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off | $130,000–$150,000+

A lovely family based in Austin, Texas is seeking an experienced rotational nanny to join their fully staffed household and provide exceptional care for their two young children, aged 6 months and 2 years old. This is a true ROTA position working 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, with coverage typically running from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM each working day. The family is looking for someone calm, organised, and highly professional, a nanny who understands how to balance warmth and nurturing care with the high standards expected in a well-run private home.

This role would suit a career nanny who genuinely enjoys working with infants and toddlers and has experience in busy, fully staffed or UHNW households. The days are hands-on and child-focused, from managing naps and feedings to planning engaging developmental activities and accompanying the family on outings and travel. The right candidate will be adaptable, discreet, proactive, and comfortable working closely alongside parents and household staff. Previous ROTA experience is highly preferred, and flexibility for domestic and international travel is essential.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing full childcare support for two children aged 6 months and 2 years
  • Managing daily routines including naps, feedings, bathing, and bedtime
  • Planning age-appropriate developmental activities and stimulating play
  • Creating a structured, nurturing, and calm environment for the children
  • Organising outings and activities appropriate to each child’s stage of development
  • Travelling domestically and internationally with the family
  • Working collaboratively within a fully staffed household
  • Supporting consistency in routines, manners, and healthy boundaries

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with UHNW or high-profile families
  • Prior rotational nanny experience preferred
  • Flexible, travel-ready, and confident adapting to changing schedules
  • Current passport and valid driver’s license required
  • Excellent, verifiable professional references
  • Ability to complete a background check and drug screening upon offer of employment

The family is offering a highly competitive compensation package of approximately $130,000–$150,000+ gross per year, depending on experience, for the right long-term fit.
