We are a French-Greek family based in Athens, Greece looking for an experienced French-speaking nanny to join our family and care for our two little girls aged 4 and 2. Mum works from home while dad works in the office and travels frequently, so we are looking for someone reliable, organised and genuinely engaging who can confidently manage the children’s routines and create a happy, structured environment throughout the day.
The role includes all usual nanny duties, planning educational and age-appropriate activities, supporting the girls’ French language development through play, conversation, books and songs, preparing healthy meals for the children, and helping encourage positive routines and independence. We already employ a housekeeper who takes care of the children’s laundry and general housekeeping, allowing the nanny to focus primarily on childcare and development.
The schedule is Monday to Friday from 8am to 6:30pm with a one-hour lunch break. Occasional travel with the family will be required, although there will also be times when we travel without the nanny, during which paid time off will be provided and organised in advance. Separate self-contained studio accommodation is included, and we are open to candidates with EU working rights who are interested in relocating to Athens.
Salary is €4,000–€4,500 per month depending on experience.
