Private family looking to hire a live-in nanny in Aspen, CO for their 2.5-year-old and 1-year-old.
They have two young children and both parents work full-time but work from home jobs with one parent having a heavy travel schedule. They are looking for an active, engaged nanny to help with childcare when they are not with the kids and when they are not in pre-school (currently the oldest is at school 4 days a week, youngest will start in October for 2 days a week), and help to manage the children and household when the kids are not home, doing things like meal prep, running errands, tidying up the house, grocery runs. When they travel on vacations, they would expect the nanny to travel with them and cover all expenses. They have professional housecleaners that come twice a week and do laundry so housecleaning would not be a significant part of the job. Cleaning would mainly be cleaning up messes that the kids make like spilled food or putting away toys. Driving the kids to and from school and activities and being able to drive to run errands is a must. The nanny would live in a downstairs bedroom that has a full bathroom and plenty of closet space. They have a car to use for the kids.
They are looking for a bright, positive, and high-energy nanny to join their family. They are looking for someone who genuinely loves being with young children and teaching them as if they were the children’s parents instead of simply a caretaker. In turn, they treat their nannies as family and would expect to include the nanny in family activities and meals but also recognize nannies are independent adults that need their space and downtime.
Must be covid vaccinated
Work Hours : M-F, hours are flexible depending on when the kids are home would be a full day, when in school the day would be morning, break in the afternoon and then help at night for bedtime. On the weekends be flexible to watch the kids so the parents can have a date night.
Languages : English and Spanish and if you speak Mandarin is a plus
Salary : $30 gross per hour on payroll
Requested Duration: At least through May 2022.
