A family in Ashtead, Surrey is seeking an experienced and proactive nanny to care for their two children, aged 2 years and 8 months, supporting their growth and development during this important stage. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, organised, and confident in sole-charge childcare, happy to plan age-appropriate activities and outings that encourage learning, play, and milestone development. During the week, the focus will primarily be on the youngest child while the older one is at nursery, with responsibilities extending to shared care when needed.
Key duties include following the daily routine and schedule, undertaking all daily sole-charge nanny tasks, nursery pick-ups and drop-offs, planning and preparing activities to support developmental milestones, attending groups, playdates, and outings, exploring outdoors through walks and trips to the park, and preparing healthy meals and snacks. Additional responsibilities include managing nursery-related tasks such as children’s laundry, tidying play areas and bedrooms, occasional proxy parenting, and travelling with the family once or twice a year.
The position is Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM, and salary is £50,000 gross per year.
