Washington DC – Family in Arlington is seeking an experienced full-time nanny to care for 3 children under 5-years-old. The family employs a second full-time nanny who works Monday through Friday. The incoming nanny will coordinate closely with this teammate to ensure seamless transitions, consistent routines, and shared communication around the children’s schedules, milestones, and household needs.
Duties include:
- Provide attentive, developmentally focused care for three children
- Work as a cohesive team with parents and the other full-time nanny to maintain consistent care and routines
- Plan and lead engaging activities, outings, and educational play around the city
- Assist with organizing projects, grocery shopping, and light meal preparation
- Help with dishes, opening packages, and maintaining household organization
- Support packing and logistics for family travel several times per year (domestic)
- Drive children to and from activities (family car provided for on-duty use)
Maintaining a high level of privacy and discretion is essential in this role, as the family values confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Schedule: Sunday 9:00 AM–7:00 PM; Monday through Thursday 11:00 AM–8:00 PM (50 hours/week guaranteed).
Start date: December 1st, 2025
Compensation: $100,000+ annually
