A professional family in Amsterdam is seeking a dedicated live-in nanny to care for their newborn and toddler, joining a household that already employs an au pair responsible for the 7-year-old. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, hands-on nanny who is passionate about early childhood development, milestones, and language enrichment. The ideal candidate is fluent in English, holds an EU passport, and is confident managing both a newborn and a toddler while supporting a structured, engaging, and nurturing daily routine.
Responsibilities include providing attentive, safety-focused care for the newborn and toddler, supporting early developmental milestones, fostering language and cognitive development, planning age-appropriate activities, preparing meals and snacks, and maintaining the children’s areas in an organized and hygienic manner. Standard nanny duties such as bathing, diapering, nap support, and playtime are included, as well as helping to establish routines that complement the family’s household flow.
The nanny will work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and collaborate closely with the au pair to ensure smooth care and consistency across all three children.
Candidates must have prior experience with infants and toddlers, be proactive, reliable, and highly organized, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. This role offers live-in accommodations and a competitive annual salary of €50,000.
