Lovely live-in role for a nanny in Albury! G3 and new sister on the way. Separate accommodation on property.
Family are looking for a new live-in nanny to join them and get settled in before the arrival of their new little girl in December!
Accommodation: Separate accommodation, annex in stable, own room and bathroom, renovated kitchenette, dressing room/wardrobe, sitting area, TV, fireplace.
General duties:
Childcare and nursery duties
School runs, G3 has just started school.
Taking girls to afternoon activities like football, gymnastics, ballet, swimming, music, soft play, farm etc.
Supporting with baby when she arrives, being flexible to help some nights
Patient and happy to play with the girls indoors and outdoors, reading stories, role play, music, painting, crafts, vegetable patch gardening, cooking and baking etc. Outdoorsy and happy to go walking/hiking with the girls.
Babysitting 1-2 times per week
Keeping the girls’ rooms, clothes, car, playroom and kitchen tidy and organised
Keeping a very organised schedule and updating weekly whiteboard calendar for girls
The parent’s parenting style is very loving, understanding and caring with lots of humour, but with structured boundaries and manners and being kind to one another. They feel communication is key, making sure the children are always aware of what is happening and what will happen in the near future. G3 is very balanced, bright, hilarious and caring and the family are looking for someone to nurture and further those qualities with her new sister arriving soon.
Happy to feed and walk dog
Cooking for the girls and do some batch cooking to keep in freezer
Travel overseas with the family, packing for the girls when going away
Candidate requirements:
Experienced nanny and worked with new-borns and toddler age group
German speaking would be amazing but not essential
Confident and safe driver required
Professional at all times with personal boundaries to family
Able and willing to travel overseas with the family
Paediatric first aid or happy to book one and complete
Polite and well-mannered and teaching the same principles to the girls
Generally, a cheerful attitude and happy to help around the house
