First-time parents based in Agoura Hills are seeking a compassionate and experienced part-time Postpartum Doula to support them following the arrival of their baby, starting in September 2026 for an initial 3-month contract with the possibility of extension. The schedule will be 3 days per week for approximately 5–6 hours per day, offering hands-on support during the newborn stage while helping the family build confidence and establish healthy routines at home. Responsibilities include providing attentive newborn care and guidance, supporting parents with feeding, soothing, sleep routines, and overall newborn education, while also offering reassurance and emotional support during the early postpartum period. The role also involves assisting with light baby-related tasks such as baby laundry, bottle preparation, nursery organisation, and helping maintain a calm and organised environment for the family. The ideal candidate is warm, knowledgeable, and proactive, with previous postpartum or newborn experience and a genuine passion for supporting first-time parents through the transition into parenthood.
