A private family in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced nanny to care for their 1-year-old child. Toddler experience is essential, along with a good understanding of routines, early development, and the changing needs of a young child.
The nanny will manage the child’s daily routine, including meals, naps, personal care, play, and age-appropriate activities that support developmental milestones. Educational activities should form a natural part of the day, with books, sensory play, music, creative activities, and outdoor time suited to the child’s age and interests. The role also includes keeping the nursery, wardrobe, toys, books, and baby equipment organised and tidy. The nanny will provide daily updates to the parents and keep them informed about the child’s routine, activities, meals, sleep, and general progress.
The successful candidate will work closely with the family and other household staff to ensure the child receives consistent care throughout the day. International travel with the family will be required when needed, so flexibility and previous travel experience are an advantage. This is a long-term position starting as soon as possible. The nanny will have a private bedroom and ensuite bathroom within the family home.
The schedule is six days per week, up to 12 hours per day.
The salary is 25,000 AED per month tax-free.
