A high-profile family in Westchester County, NY is seeking an experienced, professional full-time nanny to provide attentive, nurturing care for their three children (newborn to 5 years old). This is an excellent opportunity for a career nanny who thrives in a structured yet dynamic household and enjoys supporting multiple age groups.
The family currently employs a baby nurse, and the nanny will work collaboratively alongside them until the contract concludes. A key focus of this role is maintaining consistency, structure, and emotional support for the older children during this transition.
Key Responsibilities
Childcare & Development
Provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care for three children (newborn–5 years)
Support and maintain consistent daily routines while remaining adaptable to evolving family needs
Plan and engage children in age-appropriate activities, including creative play, outdoor time, and enrichment
Foster a calm, positive, and structured home environment
Support social, emotional, and developmental milestones
Child-Related Household Responsibilities
Manage children’s laundry and wardrobe organization
Maintain tidy, organized play areas, bedrooms, and shared child spaces
Assist with meal preparation for the children as needed
Logistics & Travel
Utilize a provided nanny vehicle for school pickups, drop-offs, and activities
Travel with the family a few times per year
Provide occasional overnight care when parents are traveling
Qualifications & Requirements
Proven experience as a full-time nanny in private households
Experience caring for multiple children, including infants and young children
Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate engagement
Organized, proactive, and able to maintain structure in a busy household
Comfortable working alongside other childcare professionals (e.g., baby nurse)
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Travel flexibility and willingness to provide overnight care as needed
Live-In Option
This position is open to both live-in and live-out candidates.
Live-in accommodations include a private bedroom and bathroom on a separate floor, offering comfort and privacy
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Hours: Guaranteed 45 hours/week (up to 60 hours as needed)
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive hourly rate: $33–$40/hour DOE
Guaranteed 45 hours per week with overtime structure (up to 60 hours as needed)
