A family in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Nanny / House Manager to support their household and care for their 8-year-old child. Responsibilities include after-school care such as school pick-ups, homework support, and engaging the child in fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and independence. In addition to childcare, the role involves household assistance, including light housekeeping, tidying common areas, organizing the home, running errands, and helping to keep daily routines running smoothly. Meal preparation for the child and occasional family support may also be required.
The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to take initiative, with prior experience in both nanny and household management roles. Strong communication skills and the ability to create a structured yet relaxed environment are essential.
This is a part-time position, schedule is Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Compensation is $30+ per hour.
