A family based on the Upper East Side of Manhattan is seeking experienced Newborn Care Specialists to support them following the arrival of their baby, who is due at the end of December. The family would like to secure round-the-clock newborn support for a minimum of four months and is open to hiring two specialists, one for daytime shifts and one for overnight shifts, or alternatively two candidates who would prefer to work on a 24-hours-on, 24-hours-off rotation. The final schedule will be agreed upon with the successful candidates.
Responsibilities will include all aspects of newborn care, establishing and maintaining feeding and sleep routines, monitoring developmental progress, supporting the parents during the early months, and ensuring the baby’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing at all times. The ideal candidates will have extensive newborn experience, excellent communication skills, and a calm, professional approach within a private household environment. Flexibility is essential, as the family travels domestically and would like candidates who are comfortable accompanying them when required.
