A family in Tunbridge Wells is looking for a caring and reliable French speaking nanny to care for their 8-year-old child after school. This role is ideal for a native or fluent French speaker who enjoys creating a fun, engaging environment while encouraging language development through everyday conversations and activities. The nanny will manage the afternoon routine, collect the child from school, drive to extracurricular activities, and provide a supportive and structured end to the day. The family is looking for someone who is organized, dependable, and confident working independently. A valid driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle are required. Previous childcare experience and excellent references are preferred.
Responsibilities: Collect the child from school, drive to and from after-school activities, speak French throughout the afternoon to encourage language development, supervise homework when needed, prepare a simple snack or light meal, and help maintain a positive, calm routine until the parents return. Build a warm and trusting relationship with the child while ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Compensation: £20–£22 per hour.
