We are seeking a live-in nanny in Tenafly, NJ to care for two school-aged children. This role is ideal for an organized, proactive caregiver who enjoys working with older children and can confidently manage a split schedule. The ideal candidate will foster a positive, engaging environment while supporting the children’s daily routines, school commitments, and extracurricular activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the morning routine, including preparing breakfast and lunchboxes
- Handling school drop-off and pick-up (car provided)
- Coordinating and driving children to after-school activities
- Engaging children in active, educational, and fun activities
- Preparing dinner and assisting with evening routines
- Completing grocery shopping and household errands related to the children
- Maintaining organization of children’s belongings and spaces
- Traveling with the family as needed
Split schedule: mornings (7:00/8:00 AM–8:30 AM) and afternoons/evenings (3:00 PM–7:00/8:00 PM), with full-day coverage when school is not in session. The family offers 30–$35 per hour DOE.
