A family in Tadworth, Surrey, is looking for an experienced and caring nanny to support their three children, aged 5, 3, and 6 months. This is a shared-care position alongside a stay-at-home mum, so the nanny should be comfortable working as part of a team and taking responsibility for the children when needed.
The role involves following the family’s routines and creating a good balance of structured activities, free play, and time outdoors. Screen-free activities are encouraged, so the nanny will plan creative play, crafts, reading, games, and age-appropriate activities for the children. Regular outings will also be part of the week, including trips to the park, local classes, playgroups, and other activities in the area. A full driving licence is required, as the nanny will drive the children to school, activities, and local outings.
The nanny will also prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children and help with their laundry. Keeping the children’s rooms, play areas, and belongings tidy and organised will be part of the daily routine. The baby will need attentive care that supports her individual feeding and sleep routines, while the older children will benefit from engaging activities and plenty of outdoor play.
The family is looking for someone warm, reliable, organised, and confident caring for children of different ages. A current DBS check is required. The position is full-time for 40 hours per week, ideally spread over five days from Monday to Friday. The family can also consider a four-day working week for the right candidate. The salary is £20-22 gross per hour.
