The 5-year-old attends school full time, while the younger child will be home during the day. The nanny will plan enriching activities both inside and outside the home, with regular trips to local classes, playgroups, parks, libraries, and other suitable outings. Duties will also include preparing simple meals and snacks, keeping the playroom and children’s spaces tidy, and helping load and unload the dishwasher. A separate household professional already handles the family’s laundry and deep cleaning, so the nanny can remain focused primarily on the children. The family is looking for someone who is warm, proactive, organised, and comfortable working alongside a stay-at-home mother. Good communication and the ability to work respectfully as part of a household team are important.
Driving is required for the position, and a vehicle will be provided for use with the children. The schedule can be three or four days per week, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The family offers $32–$35+ per hour, along with guaranteed hours, paid vacation, and paid sick days.
